Hey there, we’re Jess & Kevin.
We're a husband-and-wife photography team documenting weddings and portraits throughout New England and New York. For more than a decade, we've believed the best photographs come from those in-between moments: your grandparents sneaking a laugh together, the way your partner looks at you when no one else is watching. That's why we take a candid approach, looking for the quiet interactions and unplanned moments that make every story unique.
Alongside digital photography, we also photograph on 35mm film using vintage cameras and hand-develop every roll ourselves. Film slows us down and brings a depth and character to select moments that simply can't be replicated digitally. We love using vintage cameras because they create images that remind us of the family photographs we grew up with, tucked into albums and shoeboxes from the '70s, '80s, and '90s.
Our role is to guide you when you need direction and step back when you don't. We keep portraits relaxed and natural, then quietly document the moments that unfold on their own, so you can spend less time thinking about the camera and more time enjoying the people around you.
Our Story
We met in 2011 while working together at a bookstore, and somewhere between shelving books and sharing coffee breaks, we found our person. Friendship grew into a marriage, three wonderful boys, and eventually Atlas + Stone.
Photography began as a creative outlet and quickly became something bigger. Today, we feel incredibly fortunate to spend our weekends documenting the beginning of other families’ stories while building our own.
When we’re not photographing weddings, you’ll find us planning our next National Park trip, exploring New England, trying a new restaurant, or chasing our three boys around the backyard.
